Gran Bahía Príncipe Bávaro is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, just 20 km from Bávaro airport (40 minutes by car) and 70 km from La Romana airport (90 minutes by car). It is 50 minutes from the town of Higüey, in the province of La Altagracia.

Our Public Relations service (assistance and information desk) is located in the Lobby area in front of Reception. In addition to providing all kinds of information, it is also in charge of making reservations for the following services:
Bookings for dinners in the a la carte restaurants.
Bookings and/or hire of horses (additional charge).
Bookings for sport and motorised vehicles.
Bookings and sale of packages for the Palma Real golf course, Bávaro golf course and/or Casa de Campo golf course.
These reservations may be made every day between 10.00am and 18.00pm.
RECEPTION
Currency exchange: This service is available 24 hours a day. There is also a Bank terminal in the hotel Lobby exclusively for exchanging currency.
Safe box: This can be hired at Reception at an additional charge.
Telephone/fax: Should you wish to make any kind of national or international call, you can use the telephone boxes (at an additional charge). All calls from telephone boxes go through the operator.

Gran Bahía Príncipe Bávaro has 540 bedrooms complete with an oval, hydromassage bath. All the rooms are Junior Suites, thoroughly equipped and distributed into villas of two to three stories. There are twelve rooms specially designed for people with physical disabilities.
JUNIOR SUITE
Our spacious rooms have two full-size beds (1.36m x 2m) or one king-size bed (2m x 2m) with "pillow top" pillows, a sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom complete with oval hydromassage tub, hairdryer, satellite television, telephone with a direct external line, safe (additional charge), mini bar and terrace.

Leisure and Sports
You can take part in both motor and wind-powered water sports: windsurf, catamaran, Banana Boating, etc. There's the chance to learn how to do sub aqua, play tennis, football or volleyball, go to classes on muscle building, aerobics or merengue dancing.
You can play golf and go horse-riding. And if that's still not enough, you can always take part in our daytime and night-time entertainment programmes for both adults and children.
SPORT CENTER
The Sport Centre is the Hotel's multi-sports facility located to the west of the hotel. It has tennis courts, a volleyball court, football pitch and basketball court.
General rules:
-Patrons must wear sports footwear and a tee-shirt.
-It is necessary to book a court in advance to play tennis, basketball or volleyball.
-Clients are responsible for the material used at these facilities.
-The hotel is not responsible for any accident that may occur.
Activities and events: We offer free tennis classes for beginners.
IN THE SWIMMING POOL
The hotel places the pool at the disposal of its clients. At one pool sub aqua classes are given for beginners and there are games and activities at the other pool.

Materials available: all necessary material for water sports and underwater swimming.
ON THE BEACH
The hotel beach also offers an area for sports, as well as to relax in peace and quiet. Our clients can enjoy morning aerobic classes in contact with the sand and the sea. Water sports are also available, such as windsurfing and sunfish sailing. Material available: all necessary material for the above-mentioned activities.
SPORT POINT
The Sports Point is the office where a large variety of leisure games can be obtained, as well as sports materials and towels for the pools and beach. There is a person in charge of the centre who gives out and receives the materials.
General rules:
-Materials are only handed over to people over 16 years of age.
-There is a one-hour time limit on use of the materials.
-Guests are responsible for returning all materials in the same condition in which they were provided.
-The hotel accepts no responsibility for any accident that might take place.
